My Parents

Cheryl Renee Beedy

My mom grew up in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, where my grandparents still live, which is one of the main reasons I was drawn to Northern Michigan University. She works as an action officer doing logistics for the US Federal Government. She loves going to Las Vegas with my dad and aunt and she loves all types of wine. She loves trivia games, Jackbox games, word games, and board games, particularly Scrabble and Monopoly. She loves true crime podcasts and the color blue.

My dad works at GM as a software engineer. He grew up in Taylor, Michigan which is a little a bit south of where we live in Macomb, Michigan. When we were very little, he set up special email addresses for my whole family, using the @gorski domain name. You can find my email at max@gorski.net. He has been helping me set up my own personal website for my graphic design work. He loves Star Wars, NASCAR, Facebook Reels, and the color green. My dad also has an awesome beard.

My Siblings

Nicholas Michael Gorski

Nick is my twin brother! We were both born in September of 2005. He is a Marine currently stationed in North Carolina working as a mechanic. He absolutely adored his old 2002 Jeep Wrangler. We recently went to visit him and he told us about his favorite 24-hour Waffle House. He used to spend most of his time in the basement working on his computer build. He had 3 or 4 monitors and he collected computer parts for all different types of computers. He also used to collect cameras. He had a 3D printer that he gave to me when he moved to North Carolina, and he had an Atari and SNES that we played with as kids.

Andrew Bryan Gorski

Drew is my little brother, he was born in June of 2007, on the same day the first iPhone was released. He loves playing video games and taking silly pictures of the pets. It's his senior year of high school this year, which is really weird to see because I remember being a senior in high school like it was yesterday. He's not sure what he wants to study yet, but I heard him mention nuclear engineering, and he also had a meeting with a Navy recruiter to work on a nuclear submarine. He likes creating games on his computer, so I think he should study computer science. He's quiet but always makes the room laugh in the most random moments.
